The world’s largest supercar event, Gumball 3000, held its official press conference today, on September 13, 2024, with significant changes. In response to Ho Chi Minh City’s request to reduce and postpone festivals and events to share with the people after Storm No. 3, the program will cancel the music festival and all side events, focusing only on displaying supercars.
Thus, this will be the quietest Gumball 3000 journey ever and also a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of this global supercar journey. Along with that, Gumball 3000 will also organize a fund to support the Vietnamese people affected by Storm No. 3, from now until September 23, 2024.
The highlight of the Gumball 3000 supercar journey taking place in Vietnam on September 14 and 15 will be the opening of Gumball Grid – dubbed the “world’s most valuable car park” from 10 am on Saturday, 09/14/2024.
The central route of Le Loi (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) will become a stage for 100 supercars, many of which are unique in the world. In addition, there will be 18 supercars from Trung Nguyen on display.
At 11 am on September 15, 2024, the Gumball 3000 journey will officially start after the flag-off ceremony, heading towards the first stage from Le Loi Avenue to discover the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. On the same day, the group will move to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and continue on to Angkor Wat (Cambodia) – Bangkok, Krabi (Thailand) – Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and end the journey in Singapore on 09/21/2024.
Notable supercars participating in Gumball 3000 2024 include the Koenigsegg Regera “Honey”, Pagani Huayra BC Roadster, Porsche Carrera GT, Bugatti Chiron, and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, along with dozens of other incredible supercars.
Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu will display 15 Ferrari supercars along with the formidable trio of Bugatti Veyron, Ford GT, and Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition.

The Lamborghini Huracan STO is set to join one of the team members flying the United Nations flag in Car Team 8. Later today, two Bugatti Chiron supercars, the standard and Super Sport versions, will arrive in Vietnam to take part in the send-off ceremony tomorrow morning.

The Ford Ranger Raptor, a beast of a vehicle, is set to make an appearance at Gumball 3000 with a unique twist – it won’t be bearing Vietnamese number plates. Under the hood, it packs a powerful 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine. But that’s not all; the event will also play host to a green Rolls-Royce Cullinan, two mysterious Lamborghini supercars hidden under covers, and a Land Rover Defender. It promises to be an exciting gathering of automotive excellence.

Many were expecting to see the likes of the One-77, V12 Speedster, or at the very least, a Valhalla grace the Aston Martin lineup at Gumball 3000 2024. However, the only car that made an appearance was the humble DB12 sports model.
