The all-new 2025 Subaru Crosstrek is expected to go on sale in Vietnam by the end of this year. It will compete in the B-size CUV segment against rivals such as the Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross.

Recently, a batch of 2025 Subaru Crosstrek vehicles was spotted at a Vietnamese port, capturing the attention of car enthusiasts across the country. According to dealership sources, the compact CUV is likely to be officially launched by the manufacturer in October at the 2024 Vietnam Auto Expo.

This speculation is further supported by a teaser image shared on August 11 by the official Facebook page of Subaru Asia – Subaru’s distributor in Vietnam. The post featured an image of the upcoming model with the caption “Coming Soon.”

The Subaru Crosstrek belongs to the competitive CUV-B segment, going up against the likes of the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Corolla Cross. With its sporty design and impressive features, the Crosstrek is sure to turn heads. This new generation model has a length of 4,480 mm, a width of 1,800 mm, a height of 1,580 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. It boasts a bold and dynamic design language, with a large honeycomb grille, muscular wheel arches, and boomerang-style taillights. Leaked images suggest that the Crosstrek will be available in at least three exterior colors: red, green, and white. Information regarding the number of trim levels has not yet been disclosed.

The interior of the Subaru Crosstrek continues the sporty theme, featuring a combination of analog gauges and a small TFT screen behind the steering wheel. The centerpiece is an 11.6-inch vertically oriented infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with physical buttons for climate control. Other standard features include a push-button start, electronic parking brake, and automatic climate control.

One of the standout features of the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek is its advanced EyeSight driver-assist system, which includes cutting-edge technologies such as automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and more. This comprehensive suite of safety features enhances the overall driving experience and provides peace of mind on the road.

In terms of performance, the Subaru Crosstrek for the Vietnamese market is expected to be offered with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter gasoline engine, producing 154 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque. This will be paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), and customers will have the option to choose between front-wheel drive and Subaru’s renowned symmetrical all-wheel drive.

According to dealership consultants, the starting price for the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek is estimated to be around 1.1 billion VND. This price point positions the Crosstrek at a higher level compared to its direct competitors, the Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross. The Crosstrek was previously sold in Vietnam in 2016 under the name XV, with a price tag of 1.4 billion VND for the Japanese-imported model.
