In an effort to support the Government, local authorities, and the community in overcoming the challenges, losses, and damages caused by Storm No. 3 (Yagi) in the northern provinces, Honda Vietnam has coordinated with its automobile distributors and authorized Honda car and service dealerships (HEAD) in the affected areas to provide free inspection and oil change services for impacted customers and locals.
Specifically, from September 11, 2024, to October 11, 2024, in 13 provinces and cities, including Bac Giang, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Vinh Phuc, Son La, and Bac Ninh, owners of Honda automobiles and motorcycles affected by flooding after Storm No. 3 will be entitled to complimentary engine oil change, transmission oil change, inspection, and vehicle cleaning services at Honda automobile distributors and HEADs.
Honda Vietnam hopes that through close and swift coordination with its automobile distributor network and HEADs, it can help alleviate the difficulties faced by customers and support them in resuming their daily lives as soon as possible.
According to the Department of Dyke Management, Flood and Storm Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), local authorities have been assessing the damages caused by Storm No. 3 and the subsequent flooding. As of 22:00 on September 11, 2024, 181 people were reported dead, and 145 people were missing.
