New design style with a strong SUV feel

Inspired by the element of “Modern Boldness – Strength and Modernity”, Kia New Carnival applies angular shapes and bold, sporty lines, bringing a majestic and impressive appearance while still retaining the elegance of a large SUV.

The model has a high level of recognition with a new design of the front and rear LED lighting system, inspired by the constellation image of “Star-map”. This is the distinctive DNA of Kia’s new-generation models, along with the “Tiger Nose” – the distinctive feature of the Kia brand, designed in harmony and contrasting colors, making Kia New Carnival stand out with its unique features.

Looking from the front, the model has a completely new, modern, and sporty look with a tiger-nose grille designed to be wider, interspersed with hexagonal chrome-plated patterns and sharp LED daytime running lights in the modern “Star-map” symbol. The new vertically arranged LED projector headlight cluster helps improve lighting efficiency and makes an attractive first impression.

The body of the Kia New Carnival stands out with bold embossed lines running throughout, combined with chrome-plated C-pillars with unique 3D patterns. The 19-inch sporty wheels are designed with a completely new 3D geometric style, following the future trend with a strong SUV feel.

The rear is designed to be wider in the horizontal direction, creating stability and solidity for the model. The LED taillights in the shape of a star map, combined with a large angular rear bumper, create a visual effect when viewed at night, increasing the model’s recognition.

With a total length of up to 5,155 mm and a wheelbase of up to 3,090 mm, a width of 2,010 mm, Kia New Carnival owns both exterior and interior dimensions that are superior to other large SUVs.

The interior space is a harmonious combination of aesthetics, high-class interior materials, and modern technology and utility equipment. The cockpit design is imbued with future technology with a panoramic curved screen combining a 12.3” full LCD speedometer cluster and a 12.3” AVN multi-information entertainment screen with full HD resolution, connecting Apple Carplay and Android Auto wirelessly; At the same time, it is possible to install and control the functions of the system on the car through the AVN touch screen instead of adjusting with buttons on the steering wheel as in the previous model.

Kia New Carnival owns a 3-zone automatic air conditioning system with a modern touch-sensitive control panel instead of mechanical buttons as in the current version. The second row of seats has an independent air conditioning control button, and an additional air vent is arranged in the third row of seats to help the airflow to be distributed in multiple directions to each seat position.

The interior space is equipped with high-class perforated leather seats, bringing relaxation and comfort to customers. The second row of seats in the 8-seat version is designed with 3 flexible and versatile seats according to usage needs

This row of seats can slide back and forth to create a spacious entrance and exit for the passengers in the third row of seats or rotate 180 degrees to combine with the third row of seats to create a meeting and working space for the members on the car. The middle seat can be folded into an armrest or removed to create a walkway. Especially, the middle seat is designed to fit a child seat, which can slide back and forth and rotate 180 degrees for convenient child care during the journey.

In addition, the third row of seats in the Kia New Carnival is highly appreciated by customers as the backrest angle can be adjusted up to 120 degrees or folded flat to increase luggage space. Smooth operation with a new-generation chassis

Kia New Carnival is developed on the latest platform – N3 Platform of the Kia Group. The suspension system has been tuned and improved with a longer McPherson front suspension rubber bump stop by 5mm to help reduce lateral shake when passing speed bumps, while increasing the length of the shock absorber inside the shock absorber by 1 step (~12.8mm) to improve the stability of the car.

At the same time, the multi-link rear suspension is tuned with shock absorbers to increase drag force at low speeds, reduce drag force at high speeds, increase stability and smoothness when passing speed bumps, gravel roads… These adjustments help the suspension system to have an optimal structure, independent operation on all 4 wheels to eliminate vibration, reduce shaking, and make the body more stable.

The braking system with larger brake discs helps to optimize the operation commensurate with the powerful 2.2 Smartstream Diesel engine, combined with an electric power steering system for a light and optimal steering feel with high accuracy, creating peace of mind on every journey.

The body is reinforced with high-strength steel at key positions, increasing rigidity and providing maximum safety. The chassis is tuned with an efficient force absorption and distribution structure.

New ADAS 2.0 Advanced Driver Assistance System

Catching up with market trends and listening to customer feedback, Kia New Carnival is equipped with a new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS 2.0, ADAS – Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). This high-end system is equipped by THACO AUTO from the Premium version onwards.

Different from the previous safety support system (ADAS 1.5), the new ADAS 2.0 Advanced Driver Assistance System on Kia New Carnival will be upgraded with many smarter warning and support features to meet the daily travel needs of customers and be more convenient and safer when driving long distances, especially on highways. Specifically:

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA 2.0) (new): This is a new and most advanced safety feature of the Kia brand with many notable upgrades when improving the active safety protection system, operating accurately and optimally. The highlight of the FCA 2.0 collision avoidance system is the ability to affect the steering system to help avoid collisions with vehicles in front or behind in the same direction, helping to reduce the possibility of collisions when participating in traffic. In addition, the FCA 2.0 system is capable of affecting the braking system to help avoid collisions with cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians in front and at intersections (left and right turns).

Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) (new): The system uses a rear corner radar to detect vehicles approaching in the blind spot, then providing warnings in the form of images, sounds, or emergency braking assistance if there is a risk of collision, helping the driver to be safe when traveling on highways or leaving a parking lot with many vehicles.

Rear Cross-traffic Collision-avoidance Assist (RCCA) (new): The rear cross-traffic collision warning and avoidance system uses a rear radar to detect vehicles approaching from behind the vehicle, the system provides warnings in the form of images and sounds or emergency braking assistance when there is a risk of collision, ensuring safety for passengers in the car and vehicles participating in traffic.

Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) (new): The parking collision warning and avoidance system uses a rearview camera and a rear parking sensor to detect pedestrians or objects behind the vehicle, then providing warnings in the form of images and sounds or emergency braking assistance when there is a risk of collision when reversing, ensuring safety for pedestrians.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA) (new): The safe exit warning and assistance system uses a rear corner radar to detect vehicles approaching from behind the vehicle and provides warnings in the form of images and sounds while locking the door to prevent passengers from getting out of the car
