The All-New Range Rover Velar 2024: Unveiling in Vietnam This Year-End

The new Range Rover Velar continues to embody modern luxury, blending advanced technology with the refined sophistication synonymous with Range Rover. Its balanced and elegant design reflects a simplified approach while emphasizing contemporary and stylish character.

The combination of Pixel LED front lighting technology with Adaptive Beam and Dynamic Bend Lighting, along with sharp LED taillights, enhances the driver’s visibility. 

Timeless and Progressive Design

The exterior stands out with a new grille design, hidden door handles, and a distinctive floating roof. It offers three new exterior colors: Varensine Blue, Arroios Grey, and Zadar Grey, along with super-slim Pixel LED headlights for a refined and captivating appearance, while the rear bumper and hidden exhausts contribute to a neat and elegant look.

Inside, the new Range Rover Velar delivers a minimalist and artistic interior, highlighted by the Pivi Pro infotainment system with a curved and floating 11.4-inch center touchscreen, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard for intuitive control of the vehicle’s key functions. This design reduces distractions and glare while enhancing the driving experience.

The interior features premium materials, including Kvadrat™ fabric and Ultrafabrics™ synthetic leather. These materials offer a modern look and a luxurious soft feel, and they are designed to pass rigorous durability tests.

Four new leather colors—Cloud White, Caraway Brown, Deep Garnet Red, and Raven Black—along with subtle Moonlight Chrome and Shadow Grey Ash wood trim accents, elevate the interior’s sophistication. In the Range Rover Velar Dynamic HSE, the standard Windsor leather-trimmed seats provide the smoothest and coolest sensation in its class.

Advanced Comfort and Connectivity
The new Range Rover Velar is equipped with Active Road Noise Cancellation, ensuring the quietest ride in its class. It also features Advanced Air Suspension and Adaptive Dynamics, continuously adjusting the dampers for optimal comfort even on rough terrain.

Passengers can enjoy seamless connectivity through the new Pivi Pro infotainment system, featuring an 11.4-inch touchscreen that controls the vehicle’s primary functions, wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and convenient wireless charging. Over-the-air software updates (SOTA) keep the vehicle up-to-date without visiting a dealership.

The Range Rover Velar also offers built-in Wi-Fi with data planning, enabling access to online apps like Spotify and Deezer directly from the infotainment system. Air Purification Plus with PM2.5 air filtration, a Meridian sound system with Active Noise Cancellation, and many other modern systems and functions are included.

Optional Engine Lineup

The new Range Rover Velar offers a range of engine options, including the P400e plug-in hybrid, combining a 2.0-liter Ingenium gasoline engine with a 105kW electric motor. This setup delivers 404PS of power and 640Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 209km/h.

The P340 inline six-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine produces 340PS, resulting in a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.3 seconds. The P250, equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, generates 250PS and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds.

Exceptional Performance and Safety

Like all Range Rover models, the Velar excels in off-road performance. The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system adjusts torque distribution based on driving conditions, ensuring optimal performance on any terrain. Terrain Response 2® allows the driver to select from Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic, and Automatic modes, providing the right setup for any environment.

The Range Rover Velar has a maximum wading depth of 580mm (with air suspension), leading in its class. It is also equipped with advanced active and passive safety features such as Emergency Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Rear Traffic Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Driver Condition Monitor, and more.
