With the new model, the Kia Carnival has undergone significant exterior design improvements. This MPV now sports the new Opposites United design language, similar to other Kia models such as the Morning, Sorento, Seltos, and EV9.
Specifically, the Kia Carnival 2025 features bold, angular shapes and sporty lines. Its distinctive look is enhanced by the new LED lighting system for the front and rear, inspired by constellations. The LED projector headlights are vertically arranged in a split configuration, improving illumination.

With its dimensions of 5,155 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and a wheelbase of 3,090 mm, the Kia Carnival 2025 offers a spacious 7- or 8-seater cabin. The interior, like the exterior, has been refreshed with a modern touch.
Upon entering the vehicle, occupants are greeted by a new curved display that combines a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch AVN infotainment system. The center touchscreen has a Full HD resolution and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, users can now control various vehicle functions through the AVN touchscreen, rather than relying on steering wheel buttons as in the previous model.

Additional conveniences include sun blinds, a dual-pane sunroof, fast-charging USB Type-C ports for all rows, remote engine start, auto-dimming ECM rearview mirror, and a new 3-zone automatic climate control system with a touch-sensitive control panel, replacing the physical buttons of the previous model. In the 7-seater version, the middle row is equipped with two executive seats that offer power adjustment, heating, ventilation, a relaxation mode that simulates a weightless posture, and a one-touch recline function.
On the other hand, the 8-seater variant features a middle row that can slide forward or backward to facilitate entry and exit for the third-row passengers or rotate 180 degrees to create a conference-style seating arrangement. The center seat in the middle row can be folded into an armrest or removed to create a walkway. It is also designed to accommodate a child seat and can slide and rotate 180 degrees.

Additionally, all variants now come with eight airbags, including a new center airbag in the front, and front, side, and curtain airbags. Another new safety feature is the front, rear, and side parking sensors.

As speculated, the Kia Carnival 2025 in Vietnam no longer offers the 3.5L gasoline engine. Instead, it is powered by a 2.2L Smartstream 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 199 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque, identical to the previous model. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. According to a sales consultant at the dealership, the vehicle may be offered with a hybrid powertrain in the future.
