The Gumball 3000 2024 supercar journey has just concluded in Singapore, captivating car enthusiasts across Asia, especially in five participating countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. The event, which lasted eight days, featured hundreds of supercars from around the globe, including an impressive contingent of seven vehicles from Cambodian owners.

Specifically, on the departure day in Vietnam, five cars with Cambodia license plates joined the 25th Gumball 3000 rally: Ford Ranger Raptor, two Land Rover Defenders in orange and gray, Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, and Lamborghini Huracan STO.

Unfortunately, due to paperwork issues, two other Cambodian-owned supercars, a Bugatti Chiron and a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, had to turn back at the Moc Bai border gate in Tay Ninh province, Vietnam, on September 14, 2024, and thus couldn’t make it to Le Loi Boulevard in Ho Chi Minh City as planned.

Nevertheless, with eight participating vehicles, including the previously mentioned Bugattis, the Cambodian enthusiasts showcased their enthusiasm for the Gumball 3000 2024, exceeding the initially announced number of cars. Aside from the Bugattis, other notable vehicles in their contingent were the Ford Ranger Raptor, Land Rover Defender, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge.

The Lamborghini Huracan STO was driven by IshowSpeed, while the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a limited-edition supercar, was piloted by the founder of the Gumball 3000 2024 journey, alongside a well-known YouTuber. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 770 horsepower, an increase of 70 hp over the standard version and 20 hp more than the Lamborghini Aventador SV. Its maximum torque has also been enhanced by 30 Nm to 720 Nm, making it more powerful than other Aventador models.

However, despite these improvements, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ’s 0-100 km/h acceleration time remains unchanged at 2.8 seconds, matching that of the Lamborghini Aventador SV. The top speed of this rare supercar is an impressive 350 km/h.

The owner of this Ferrari 488 Pista Spider took a rather unusual approach when it came to modifying their car. They decided to install an impressive body kit, but instead of using traditional methods, they secured it with tape. Unfortunately, this unconventional method backfired, as the custom parts started falling off as the car drove down the road. To make matters worse, the owner also replaced the iconic Ferrari prancing horse logo with that of a French car manufacturer. This act of heresy against the prestigious Italian automotive brand is sure to ruffle some feathers.
