The VinFast VF3 is a small-sized SUV that has garnered significant attention from domestic consumers since its launch. It is one of the few electric vehicles on the market with a price tag of under VND 300 million.
The overwhelming interest in the VinFast VF3 has led many custom garages to purchase one to experiment with, creating unique builds to attract customers. One such example is a garage owner in Ho Chi Minh City, who installed a set of Mercedes-AMG GT 53 seats worth VND 280 million, significantly more expensive than the VF3’s price of VND 240 million.
Now, the owner is taking on another ambitious project – transforming the VF3’s body kit to resemble the stylish Land Rover Defender 3-door. This could spark a new trend among car enthusiasts who enjoy modifying their vehicles.
The VF3, nicknamed the “mini Defender,” has received a custom wrap, including the grille, bumpers, and headlights. The owner has not disclosed the cost of this modification and is rushing to complete this unique project on an electric vehicle.
The VF3 is also fitted with eye-catching LED taillights and custom Mansory wheels, a brand known for its oversized wheels, ranging from 20 to 25 inches or larger upon request. The wheels on this VF3 are a more modest 16 inches, featuring a black multi-spoke design.
The VinFast VF3 is available in nine different colors, including four basic colors: white, red, dark blue, and gray. The remaining five are premium colors: yellow, pink-purple, light green, light blue, and pink. The VF3 is priced at VND 235 million for the battery leasing option and VND 315 million for the battery ownership option.
Powered by an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, the VF3 delivers 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in 5.3 seconds. It is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a usable capacity of 18.64 kWh, offering a range of 210 km on a single charge according to the NEDC standard. Charging times are 5 hours from 10% to 70% with a slow charger and 36 minutes with a fast charger.
