Mitsubishi has recently introduced an all-new affordable 4WD GLX-R variant to its Triton pickup truck range.

Compared to other variants, the Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R features only the essential equipment to keep the price competitive.

This GLX-R 4WD variant still boasts the Dynamic Shield grille, but without the chrome accents. It also sports halogen headlights and slightly modified side steps.

The vehicle is fitted with 18-inch dark alloy wheels and a dark sports bar at the rear.

Inside, the Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R cabin is designed with simplicity in mind, featuring a 9-inch infotainment screen, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and basic cloth upholstery.

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 201 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and Super Select II 4WD system, offering impressive off-road capabilities.

This new variant offers multiple drive modes (Normal, Eco, and 5 off-road settings) and a rear center differential lock.

In the Australian market, the Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R starts at a competitive price of AU$56,740 (approximately VNĐ 962 million).
