The VinFast Campus Tour 2024 event series, taking place from September 13 to October 27, offers university students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City a chance to test-ride and own VinFast electric scooters with amazing deals.
During the initial days of the event in Hanoi, the VinFast Campus Tour 2024 attracted hundreds of students. The young participants had the opportunity to explore and experience first-hand the latest electric scooter models from VinFast, including the Evo200/Evo200 Lite, Feliz S, Klara S, Vento S, and even the newly launched Theon S. The VF DrgnFly electric bicycle, nicknamed the “flying dragon,” also made an appearance at the event.

With the theme “Switch to a New Ride – Exciting Back-to-School,” the Campus Tour event created a unique, camping-style green space. In addition to test-riding the scooters, the students enthusiastically participated in minigames to learn about the outstanding features of VinFast electric scooters and received attractive gifts.

On the morning of September 30 at Phenikaa University in Hanoi, hundreds of students took time off from their studies to join the VinFast Campus Tour experience.
Nguyen Thi Kim Yen (Gia Lai) particularly liked the VinFast Evo200 Lite.
After taking the VinFast Evo200 Lite in a vibrant pink color for a spin, Nguyen Thi Kim Yen from Gia Lai shared her thoughts: “Previously, I had ridden on a VinFast electric scooter when I booked a ride with Xanh SM. I found it to be very smooth and quiet. Today, after test-riding this scooter, I was even more surprised by how smoothly it accelerated, and it felt easier to handle and safer than the electric bicycle I used before.”
The technology featured in VinFast’s electric scooters intrigued the young participants.
Most female students were drawn to the Evo200 Lite with its modern, European-style design, compact size, and comfortable seat height. Models like the Feliz S and Klara S, which offer a unisex design, also attracted attention for their fashionable looks. Many students were excited to learn about the ability to connect their scooters to smartphones for remote management.
Tran Van Do (Ha Nam) was impressed by the performance of the VinFast Theon S.
On the other hand, male students tended to favor models with bolder designs, stronger engines, and larger sizes. Despite having ridden several electric scooters before, Tran Van Do from Ha Nam was surprised by the performance of the Vento S and Theon S. According to Van Do, the Theon S impressed him not only with its sharp, angular design but also with its rapid acceleration, agile handling, and safe braking on the wet test track due to the rainy weather.

“I found the Theon S to be incredibly fast, yet the electric motor was remarkably quiet. When I had to brake suddenly from a high speed, the scooter remained balanced and safe. I really like the dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) on this scooter. In my opinion, ABS is a crucial safety feature for all riding conditions,” shared Van Do.
Affordable pricing, low operating costs, and environmental friendliness are big plus points.
In addition to the smooth and quiet riding experience, many young participants appreciated the low operating costs of VinFast electric scooters, which are ideal for students. Charging an electric scooter at home is also more convenient than refueling a traditional gasoline-powered scooter.
After the test ride, when Kim Yen (Gia Lai) realized that the electric scooter from VinFast was much more economical than her current gasoline-powered scooter, she started planning to make the switch. This decision became much easier thanks to VinFast’s “Green Vietnam” program.
VinFast’s discounts of up to 12 million VND make it easier for young people to own an electric scooter.
As part of this program, VinFast offers customers who purchase electric scooters with a built-in battery a discount of up to 12 million VND or a gift worth 3 million VND for those who choose the battery rental option. Customers can choose to receive this benefit as cash or use it in the VinClub loyalty program. This program is valid from September 20 to December 31, 2024.
In addition to affordable purchase and operating costs, the environmental friendliness of electric scooters was also highly regarded by many young people. Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh from Hai Duong shared that the best thing about electric scooters is the absence of emissions and the lack of gasoline smell when storing the vehicle indoors. Nhu Quynh mentioned that her family owns two VinFast electric scooters for this very reason.
