Earlier this year, a luxury car importer and supercar repair specialist in Ho Chi Minh City shared news about importing a Ferrari 812 GTS to Vietnam. Due to sensitivity, they only shared a photo of the car on a tow truck abroad. Now, we finally have official images of the Ferrari 812 GTS in Vietnam.

The convertible supercar Ferrari 812 GTS has arrived at the owner’s garage and is awaiting registration. Our sources indicate that the owner of this Ferrari 812 GTS is none other than Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, Chairman of Trung Nguyen, a well-known entrepreneur with a passion for Ferrari cars, owning a collection of over 40 vehicles.

This is Mr. Vu’s second Ferrari 812, after the Superfast coupe he purchased in April 2024. The GTS model boasts a retractable hardtop that can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds. Moreover, the roof can be operated while the car is in motion, as long as the Ferrari 812 GTS is traveling at speeds below 45 km/h.

The arrival of the convertible Ferrari 812 GTS in Vietnam and its potential handover to “Qua” Vu can be considered a blessing from the Italian automaker to its customers. Previous high-end models such as the Ferrari 599 GTB and Ferrari F12 Berlinetta did not have commercially produced convertible versions.

The Ferrari 812 GTS is currently the most powerful V12 convertible that can be easily purchased. Equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, it delivers a maximum output of 789 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque.

The convertible Ferrari 812 GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds, eventually hitting a top speed of 340 km/h. These figures match those of the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

It is unclear how the imported Ferrari 812 GTS was sold, but we know that Thai tycoons had to pay 34.7 million Baht, equivalent to 26 billion VND, to own one through official channels.

At its launch, the convertible Ferrari 812 GTS was priced at over $450,000, equivalent to 10.5 billion VND. However, used cars have since seen price increases ranging from $100,000 to $250,000, depending on their condition and options.
