**Vietnam Motor Show 2024: A Showcase of Automotive Excellence**
Vietnam Auto & Motorcycle Show 2024 (Vietnam Motor Show 2024) is set to impress with the participation of renowned automotive and motorcycle brands, alongside over 50 auxiliary industry partners. The highly anticipated event will officially take place from October 23rd to 27th, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Among the exhibitors are 11 automotive brands, including industry leaders such as Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Isuzu, Subaru, Skoda, GAC, GAZ, MG, and BYD, as well as 8 prominent motorcycle brands.
Making its debut at the Vietnam Motor Show 2024 is Skoda Auto, the largest automotive brand in the Czech Republic and the fifth oldest in the world. Skoda will be showcasing the Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Karoq, two exceptional vehicles that have already made their mark in the Vietnamese market since their launch in September 2023. The Skoda Karoq, a C-size SUV, is priced at 999 million VND for the Ambition 1.4 TSI version and 1.089 billion VND for the Style 1.4 TSI variant. Meanwhile, the Skoda Kodiaq, a D-segment SUV, starts at 1.189 billion VND for the Ambition 1.4 TSI model and goes up to 1.409 billion VND for the Style 2.0 TSI version.
According to sources, VMS 2024 will also be the platform for the launch of the new-generation Skoda Kodiaq. The 2025 model is expected to feature the same two engine options as its predecessor: a 1.4L four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive; and a more powerful 2.0L four-cylinder engine delivering 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
