The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT recently claimed the title of the fastest-accelerating production car, surpassing Tesla.

Specifically, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT impressed with its swift acceleration, taking just 1.9 seconds to sprint from 0-60 mph, as reviewed by the experts at Car and Driver magazine (USA).

Unveiled globally in early 2024, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is regarded as the most potent variant of the Taycan lineup. It boasts a dual-motor electric setup, delivering an astonishing 777 horsepower and a staggering 1,339 Nm of torque. With the Attack mode, the vehicle can temporarily surge to 1,019 horsepower, and an even higher figure of 1,092 horsepower is achievable for a brief 2 seconds with Launch Control engaged.

As per factory specifications, the Taycan Turbo GT is capable of reaching a top speed of 180 mph and accelerating from 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds, or an even quicker 2.1 seconds with the optional Weissach package.

In real-world testing by Car and Driver, the Taycan Turbo GT demonstrated its prowess by clocking 1.91 seconds in the 0-60 mph sprint during the first attempt, and an even more impressive 1.898 seconds in the subsequent run.

It’s worth noting that the tests were conducted on a standard concrete surface, and the Taycan in question was not the lightest variant available.

In the Vietnamese market, Porsche Taycan is offered in eight different configurations, with prices ranging from 4.26 billion to 8.5 billion VND. These prices do not include additional personalization options.
