The all-new Porsche Panamera has been unveiled with refined interior and exterior designs, the addition of a hybrid powertrain, and the introduction of Porsche Active Ride technology.
Porsche has officially launched the third-generation Panamera in Vietnam, offering seven models, including two versions powered by internal combustion engines and five e-Hybrid variants. In Vietnam, the 2025 Porsche Panamera is priced from 6.42 billion VND (approximately $274,000).
In terms of dimensions, the 2025 Porsche Panamera measures 5,052 x 1,938 x 1,422 mm in length, width, and height, respectively. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is slightly longer by 3 mm.
Design-wise, the 2025 Porsche Panamera doesn’t deviate much from its predecessor. It comes standard with LED matrix headlights, and customers can opt for the more advanced HD Matrix LED lights with over 32,000 pixels per headlight, providing a range of up to 600 meters. The front bumper has been squared off for a more robust look, and the air intakes have been enlarged. The central air intake can be actively opened and closed depending on the driving conditions.
According to Porsche Vietnam, the Panamera 2025 features seven new wheel designs compared to the previous model. Notably, customers can personalize various aspects of the new Panamera, similar to what Rolls-Royce offers, including paint colors, wheel designs, and body panel patterns.
At the rear, the Porsche Panamera 2025 sports redesigned taillights with a double LED strip for a more striking appearance. The rear spoiler can be actively deployed or retracted via the central display.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Porsche Panamera adopts a minimalist yet modern and luxurious design aesthetic. The central console has been streamlined, eliminating most physical buttons. The gear selector has been relocated to the right of the steering wheel for easier access.
The 2025 Porsche Panamera features a 12.6-inch screen behind the steering wheel, similar to the Porsche Taycan and the latest Porsche Cayenne. The central 12.3-inch display offers wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, and customers can opt for the Burmester 3D audio system, which costs 460.6 million VND (approximately $20,000). The steering wheel is wrapped in leather, and the optional Sport Chrono package adds a drive mode selector. With the Sport Chrono package, priced at 108.5 million VND (approximately $4,600), the car gains a Sport Plus mode.
The Porsche Panamera 2025 also offers an optional 10.9-inch digital screen for the front passenger, providing vehicle data, entertainment, and navigation. In the rear, the Porsche Panamera 2025 comes standard with a dedicated touch screen for climate control, media, and navigation.
One of the most notable upgrades in the 2025 Porsche Panamera is the introduction of the Porsche Active Ride system. This technology comprises active shock absorbers with an integrated electric hydraulic pump that can adjust the flow within the dampers up to 13 times per second. This results in improved body stability and a more comfortable ride, especially on rough roads. It also enhances the car’s handling at high speeds or during sharp cornering. Interestingly, Porsche claims that the Panamera 2025 doesn’t require traditional coil springs thanks to this advanced suspension system. Additionally, the ride height can be raised by up to 55mm, providing the versatility of an SUV.
To power the Porsche Active Ride system, the Porsche Panamera e-Hybrid utilizes a 400V electrical system, which is why this technology is exclusive to the e-Hybrid models.
In terms of powertrain, the Porsche Panamera 2025 featured here is equipped with a 2.9L V6 twin-turbo engine, delivering 353 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The standard model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
