Ahead of the VMS 2024 exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City later this month, Skoda has imported a batch of new vehicles to Vietnam. In addition to the new Kodiaq, the shipment includes the Skoda Superb.
Back in 2022, when Skoda announced its plan to enter the Vietnamese market, the brand revealed its intention to introduce the Superb model to local customers. However, contrary to the initial information, the Skoda Superb imported this time is the wagon (Combi) version instead of the sedan (Hatch) body style.
The Skoda Superb 2025 imported to Vietnam is the wagon version, known as the Combi.
The Skoda Superb Combi that arrived at the Vietnamese port belongs to the latest generation, which was first introduced to the European market in November 2023. Built on the MQB platform, this model boasts dimensions of 4,902 x 1,849 x 1,482 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,841 mm. Meanwhile, the sedan version is slightly longer, measuring 4,912 mm in length.
The new-generation Superb features an evolved design language, resulting in a smoother appearance and a reduced drag coefficient of 0.24 Cd. The model retains distinctive Skoda design elements, such as the grille with vertical slats resembling a waterfall and sharp character lines.
The highlights of its exterior design include sleeker LED matrix headlights and crystalline LED taillights, contributing to a more premium feel. The grille has been widened, and the central air intake in the front bumper is adorned with a new chrome trim.

The interior of the Skoda Superb 2025 shares a similar design and equipment level with its sibling, the new Kodiaq. It features a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch central touchscreen, and a head-up display. Additionally, it comes with a new gear selector located behind the steering wheel, wireless phone charging, an electronic parking brake, and a panoramic sunroof.

Furthermore, the Superb is equipped with new Smart Dials knobs integrated with 1.25-inch screens, enhancing ease of use. The two outer knobs control the air conditioning and the cooling/heating seats. Meanwhile, the central knob can perform multiple functions, depending on the driver’s selection, including volume adjustment, fan speed and direction, smart air conditioning mode selection, driving mode selection, and map zoom for the navigation system.

Being the more practical version, the Skoda Superb Combi 2025 offers a generous luggage capacity of 690 liters, compared to the sedan’s 645 liters. Additionally, it features 28 clever storage solutions collectively known as Simply Clever, further enhancing its practicality.

It is not yet clear which engine powers the Skoda Superb Combi 2025 in Vietnam. In the European market, the model offers a range of engine options, including gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid variants. Notably, the plug-in hybrid powertrain is exclusive to the wagon body style.
The engine lineup for the Superb delivers maximum outputs ranging from 148 to 261 horsepower. The engines are paired with either a 7-speed or 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and come with front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the variant.
The launch timing and pricing of the Skoda Superb in Vietnam remain unknown. However, it would be intriguing to see if Skoda intends to sell the Superb Combi in Vietnam, as wagon-style vehicles are typically less popular in the country. It is possible that this model is solely for display at the VMS 2024 exhibition to gauge market response.
