Yamaha Motor Vietnam officially introduces the all-new Yamaha Janus 125 with the message “Match Your Freak – He J Quality Different”, expressing the unique “freak” spirit – the freedom to express yourself without being bound by any framework.

A completely new design concept

The soft-lined design, combined with the sleek tail, creates a stylish and dynamic look. The tail of the Yamaha Janus 125 2024 features a long, curved light strip that runs along the body, creating a seamless and elegant look from front to back. The intricately designed U-shaped taillight is a distinctive feature of the Janus line, making the scooter stand out and easily recognizable.

Comfortable seat with new anti-heat technology (Anti-heat seat)

With a 77mm longer seat, the Janus 125 offers a more spacious feel for both the rider and passenger, while also allowing for easier adjustment of seating positions. Notably, the anti-heat seat incorporates a new technology (Anti-heat seat – Limited to the Limited Edition) with a PVC layer made of heat-resistant material and an optimized heat-reflective layer, providing a cool and comfortable seating experience even when the scooter is parked in the sun for extended periods.

Spacious footwell

The Yamaha Janus 125 2024 boasts a spacious footwell, 20mm wider than its predecessor, ensuring a comfortable ride for the driver and allowing them to fully enjoy long journeys.

Expanded storage compartment with convenient USB charging port

The under-seat storage has been upgraded with an additional 1.1 liters of capacity compared to the previous version. The thermal insulation layer in the compartment helps reduce engine heat, keeping the stored items unaffected. Additionally, the integrated USB charging port allows users to conveniently charge their mobile phones or other electronic devices quickly (note: Do not leave phones/batteries in the compartment while charging).

New tubeless tires

Tubeless tires not only make the scooter lighter but also reduce the risk of sudden punctures, ensuring safety on the road.

Multi-functional LCD display

The minimalist design and modern font make it easy for riders to monitor various parameters in all lighting conditions.

Striking front light cluster

The front light cluster impresses with its always-on light and chrome-plated rim surrounding the main light bar, complemented by two turn signal strips, creating a unique and eye-catching style.

Automatic engine shut-off and restart mechanism when accelerating

The temporary engine shut-off system (Stop & Start System – available on the Special and Limited Editions) temporarily turns off the engine when the scooter is stationary for over 5 seconds and restarts it when the throttle is applied, contributing to fuel savings.

Improved fuel tank design

The fuel tank has been optimized for easier refueling and space efficiency.

One-push start: Quick, easy, and quiet engine start with the push of a button.

Smart key system

The smart key system (available on the Special and Limited Editions) features a rotating knob for vehicle location, power on/off, steering lock/unlock, and seat unlock (in conjunction with the “Seat” button).

Engine

The Yamaha Janus 125 2024 is equipped with a Blue Core engine, a 4-stroke, air-cooled, 124.9cc cylinder that delivers a maximum power of 7.0 kW/8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 9.6 Nm/5,500 rpm.
