NIAD signs MOU with VinFast, FGF, and V-Green to promote green transformation
Accordingly, NIAD plans to lease 200 electric vehicles, including VinFast VF 8 and VF 9, from FGF to provide transportation services for partner enterprises. They will also coordinate to open new V-Green charging stations at the company’s headquarters and managed offices.
The 200 VinFast electric vehicles that NIAD plans to lease from FGF are mainly premium models, VF 8 and VF 9, to provide long-term transportation services for partners. The goal in NIAD’s green transformation journey is to gradually replace the current gasoline fleet with electric vehicles, thereby forming and encouraging a more civilized and environmentally friendly electric vehicle usage habit with its partners.
In addition to leasing VinFast electric vehicles, FGF will also support the trade-in of NIAD’s existing gasoline vehicles to accelerate the green transformation from gasoline to electric. With the common goal of building a sustainable green future, FGF and NIAD will collaborate to offer diverse service options to customers, including short-term and long-term rentals, as well as purchasing new and used vehicles.
NIAD not only provides transportation and leasing services but also collaborates with V-Green, the Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company, to develop and open new VinFast electric vehicle charging stations in a franchised model. Taking the initiative to ensure charging infrastructure will not only give customers peace of mind and convenience during their use of electric vehicle transportation services but also opens up a potentially lucrative business opportunity for NIAD.
Speaking at the MOU signing ceremony, Mr. Ha Trung Nghia, CEO of NIAD, shared: “At NIAD, we understand the benefits that electric vehicles bring to the environment, society, and users. This is also the inevitable mode of transportation of the future. Therefore, we are delighted to join hands with VinFast, FGF, and V-Green to spread green living and green mobility habits and contribute to expanding the charging station system, thereby building a more sustainable green future for all.”
Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy General Director of FGF, said: “Our cooperation with NIAD to provide vehicle leasing services to enterprise customers is a strategic step for FGF to popularize the long-term leasing model in the Vietnamese market. This also allows partner enterprises to directly participate in the green transformation by changing their daily commuting habits with optimized costs and world-class, professional services.”
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong, CEO of V-Green, shared: “Today’s cooperation agreement between the companies is a testament to the strong momentum of the green transformation and the electric vehicle trend in Vietnam, attracting the participation of more and more progressive-thinking organizations, individuals, and businesses with a high sense of social responsibility. V-Green believes that this cooperation model will continue to be replicated, contributing to the expansion of the electric vehicle ecosystem and bringing benefits to the community.”
Up to now, FGF has cooperated with more than 10 enterprise partners, leasing nearly 1,000 VinFast electric vehicles on a long-term basis. The company also provides short-term rental services by the day, week, or month to individual customers at attractive costs and with flexible leasing options. Users can experience VinFast electric vehicles through FGF’s leasing services before making a purchase decision or easily trade in their old gasoline cars for new VinFast electric vehicles through FGF’s trade-in program.
