The all-new Kia Sportage, rendered by Gotcha Cars, showcases a bold new design. This rendering is based on spy shots of the Sportage facelift being tested in South Korea.

The rendering reveals significant design changes, possibly inspired by the EV9 and Sorento models. The most striking feature is the new “star map” headlamps flanking the grille.

The interior of the Sportage facelift borrows design cues from the EV9 and EV3, featuring a sleek dashboard with three integrated infotainment screens, a wireless charging pad, and a sporty three-spoke steering wheel. It also includes a heads-up display, smart infotainment controls, and other modern conveniences.

According to Korean Car Blog, the Sportage facelift is expected to offer two new powertrain options: a hybrid and an all-electric version, aligning with Kia’s electrification plans in its home market. The current Kia Sportage in South Korea is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 148 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

For the mid-cycle refresh, the dual-clutch transmission is likely to be replaced by an eight-speed automatic. The Sportage facelift is also expected to be equipped with advanced safety features such as collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control.

The new Sportage will be launched in South Korea in November, with no details on pricing or trim levels revealed yet.

In Vietnam, the Kia Sportage is currently offered in eight different trim levels, ranging in price from 779 to 999 million VND. It competes in the C-segment SUV category against rivals such as the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Ford Territory, and Honda CR-V.
