Suzuki’s booth at VMS 2024 was a crowd-pleaser, even without any new car launches.
At VMS 2024, Suzuki displayed four car models and one motorcycle: the XL7 hybrid, two Jimny SUVs, a Super Carry Pro truck, and a V-strom big bike.
These vehicles cater to a range of purposes, demonstrating Suzuki’s ability to meet diverse customer needs, from leisure to work commutes.
The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid was officially launched in the Vietnamese market in late August 2024, offering two versions with prices starting from 599.9 to 607.9 million VND.
The XL7 hybrid is powered by a 1.5L engine combined with an electric motor and a small lithium-ion battery for acceleration support. The engine delivers 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle’s battery is warranted for 8 years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.
Alongside the XL7, the off-road SUV Suzuki Jimny also made an appearance at this year’s exhibition. It went on sale in the Vietnamese market in March 2024, with a starting price of 789 million VND.
In its fourth generation, the Jimny is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine, a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a part-time 4-wheel drive system with a low-range transfer case. The 2H mode ensures smooth and fuel-efficient performance on flat, dry paved roads. With its 4H and 4L modes, the Jimny can effortlessly tackle various terrain types, including sand, mud, gravel, and wet grass.
In 2025, Suzuki will continue to introduce products that showcase the advantages of hybrid technology, focusing on delivering an enhanced driving experience and reflecting the unique personalities of their owners.
