The Vietnam Auto Expo (VMS) 2024 kicked off on the morning of October 23, and Honda Vietnam introduced the upgraded Civic line-up to domestic customers and unveiled the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2025 super motorbike.
Thus, Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2025 was officially launched in the Vietnamese market through the Viet Nam Motor Show 2024, which lasted until October 27, and officially went on sale the next day at a price of 1.05 billion VND, much more expensive than the car models that Honda is distributing.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2025 model will be officially distributed in Vietnam with the only SP version and traditional red, green, and white colors.
Accordingly, in this version, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2025 continues to maintain a design orientation towards maximum control on the racetrack while receiving a series of changes in engine and features with support from the MotoGP racing development program of the HRC racing team to elevate the driving experience for customers.
Developed based on the essence of the engine development program for the MotoGP racing team of Honda HRC, the Fireblade’s engine is now more powerful, lighter, and produces less friction thanks to the use of DLC coating, new valve and valve angle design, and the application of specialized materials with low weight but very high rigidity such as TI-64A titanium, Beryllium Copper C1720-HT, and A2618 aluminum in the engine details.
The electronics system has also been improved with an upgraded TBW electronic throttle system, delivering faster throttle response. A new start mode, 3 driving modes, and improved customization options. The HSTC torque control system is now equipped with a wheel slip control mode, helping the driver to increase control.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2025 features a completely new and unique design style, with an aerodynamic shell that incorporates many unique techniques and has the lowest drag coefficient in its class. In addition, the Fireblade is equipped with a winglet inspired by the MotoGP racing car, which generates downforce equivalent to the Honda RC213V racing car, minimizing front wheel lift at high acceleration, and improving vehicle stability when braking and cornering at high speeds.
Not stopping there, in the SP version, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2025 is also equipped with a suspension system using the 3rd generation Ohlins Smart Electronic Control semi-active electronic shock absorber (S-EC3.0), with a 43mm Ohlins S-EC3.0 (SV) NPX inverted front fork and Ohlins TTX36 S-EC3.0 (SV) rear shock absorber, providing superior shock absorption performance and optimal vehicle balance.
In this version, the Brembo Stylema R brake caliper is equipped for the front brake system, improving braking performance and providing better feedback to the driver when operating in the harsh conditions of the racetrack. The 5-inch TFT dashboard with high resolution makes it easy for the driver to adjust and monitor the vehicle’s operating parameters perfectly.
