A severe accident in India has left a pair of Mercedes-AMG cars badly damaged.
During a test drive event, the driver of an orange Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance lost control and rear-ended a Hyundai Accent. The AMG then collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz SL 55 traveling in the opposite direction.
Fortunately, there were no casualties in the collision, but the two luxury cars were not so lucky.
The front end of the orange GT 63 is completely smashed, with one side of the body and the windshield shattered.
The green SL 55 is in a similar state, with its front wheel detached and one side of the body torn apart.
It is unlikely that the two cars will be able to be restored to their original state. If they can be repaired, the costs will undoubtedly be significant.
In the Indian market, the Mercedes-Benz SL 55 and GT 63 S E Performance are priced at 24.4 – 31 million Rupees (approximately 7.339 – 9.324 billion VND).
