It’s been almost a year since the Tesla Cybertruck started rolling off the production line and into customers’ hands, and this electric truck still boasts the most futuristic looks on the market. But if you thought it couldn’t get any quirkier, think again, as there’s now a wide-body kit available from a company called Waido.

This is claimed to be the first complete wide-body kit for the Cybertruck, and LA-based custom shop Stars In The Ceiling claims to be the first to install it on a private truck. The shop charges a hefty $9,990 for the kit, which is a limited edition of just 100 units.

The kit is made from ABS plastic and doesn’t require any trimming or cutting of the original Cybertruck body panels, unlike some wide- kits for supercars, luxury cars, and SUVs.

The front and rear fender flares make the most noticeable statement, adding an impressive six inches to the width of Tesla’s electric truck. Importantly, the front fender includes the same rear-facing camera as the stock fender, and it’s just as well-hidden.

Keeping these cameras is crucial to maintaining the truck’s Autopilot system, although some modifications are necessary, including a new housing for the camera and extension cables to accommodate the wider stance. Notably, the factory charging port is also unaffected, allowing owners to maintain all original charging capabilities.

Waido’s kit doesn’t stop at fender flares. It includes a redesigned front bumper that looks a bit more aggressive. New panels have also been designed for the EV, such as a large spoiler on the tailgate and an impressive rear diffuser.

The stainless steel body of this Cybertruck has also been treated to a special military-green wrap, while the body kit parts are color-matched. It also sports a set of massive 26-inch black Forgiato wheels wrapped in off-road tires.
