After a period of absence, the one-and-only Chevrolet Corvette C8 in Vietnam has recently made its way back south, ready to meet its new owner.

It is understood that the first and only Chevrolet Corvette C8 in Vietnam was brought into the country by a private car business in Hanoi in late 2020.

At the time, the price of this car was rumored to be over 7 billion VND. To date, it remains the only Chevrolet Corvette C8 in Vietnam.

The car attracted attention when it was registered for business services with a distinctive yellow license plate. Before parting ways with its first owner, the car changed back to a white license plate.

The first Chevrolet Corvette C8 in Vietnam boasts a white exterior. The design of the car takes inspiration from the Lockheed Martin F22/F35 fighter jets and F1 race cars.

The front of the car impresses with its sharp LED headlights and three large air intakes placed low for improved aerodynamics.

The only Corvette C8 in Vietnam is also equipped with a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a Fabspeed Valvetronic Maxflo exhaust system.

Originally, this C8 had white rims, but after changing owners several times, the rims have now been changed to gunmetal gray.

The Corvette C8 features GM’s new digital cockpit, including a 2-spoke steering wheel with integrated shift paddles, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen with a next-generation infotainment system, a standard 10-speaker audio system with an optional 14-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, wireless phone charging, and more.

Powering the Corvette C8 is a 6.2L Small Block LT2 V8 engine, the next generation of Chevy’s iconic powerplant, producing 495 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with a rear-wheel drive system and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (8 DCT) designed by TREMEC for quick and smooth shifts. The transmission is also smarter thanks to advanced shift control algorithms.
