The VOC 2024 off-road racing event, one of the most exciting sporting events of the year, has officially kicked off with the participation of over 140 athletes and thousands of spectators.
Not only a competition for professional off-road drivers, VOC 2024 is also a playground for car brands to showcase their power and technology. Skoda stood out with an impressive display of its Kodiaq Style model.
Skoda brought a unique test drive experience to VOC 2024 exclusively for the Kodiaq Style. On a specially designed off-road track with challenges such as bumpy terrain, deep inclines, and teeter-totter pits, the Kodiaq Style demonstrated its impressive off-road capabilities.
The Skoda Kodiaq Style not only impressed with its robust appearance but also captivated viewers with its powerful performance on the off-road track. The permanent all-wheel-drive system, along with electronic differential lock, helped the vehicle easily navigate the challenging teeter-totter pits, ensuring optimal traction even when one wheel was lifted off the ground.
The high-end Style variant is equipped with a powerful 2.0 Turbo TSI engine that generates 180 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. With this ample pulling power, the Kodiaq Style effortlessly conquered steep inclines and emerged from deep pits.
The vehicle’s chassis and shock absorber settings allowed the Kodiaq Style to glide over rough terrain smoothly and stably. Moreover, dedicated off-road driving modes enabled drivers to customize the vehicle’s performance according to different terrain conditions, from rocky roads to slippery surfaces.
Among a fleet of heavy-duty off-road vehicles, over 500 test drives showcased the Kodiaq Style as an appealing choice at VOC 2024. For those seeking an SUV that excels in diverse driving conditions on various road surfaces, the Skoda Kodiaq is a strong contender.
