Vietnamese car enthusiast Phạm Trần Nhật Minh, commonly known as Minh “Nhựa,” recently shared images of his two luxurious Rolls-Royce vehicles, capturing the attention of the online community and domestic car enthusiasts alike.
While the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series I has been a part of Minh “Nhựa”‘s garage for nearly 20 years, sporting its original black exterior, the newly acquired Rolls-Royce Spectre, added to the collection just three months ago, boasts a sleek white finish.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre, a super-luxury car, is priced at around 18 billion VND in Vietnam, but with additional options such as custom paint, rims, and exterior features, the price of this particular model could exceed 25 billion VND, excluding other costs associated with getting the car on the road.
Being an electric car, the Rolls-Royce Spectre doesn’t consume a drop of gasoline yet delivers an impressive maximum output of 577 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. As the first electric vehicle from Rolls-Royce, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
With a range of 515 kilometers according to the EPA test cycle in the US, the Rolls-Royce Spectre could easily take you on a trip from Saigon to Nha Trang on a single charge. The British carmaker asserts that 515 kilometers is more than sufficient for their target audience, as their research shows that Rolls-Royce owners typically have multiple vehicles in their garage, and thus, the need to drive the Spectre long distances is infrequent.
For journeys exceeding 500 kilometers, Minh “Nhựa” can opt for the super-luxury Rolls-Royce Ghost Series I, famously known for its fuel consumption, averaging around 21 liters per 100 kilometers.
The first-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost is equipped with a 6.6-liter V12 engine, twin-turbocharged, producing a maximum output of 562 horsepower and a peak torque of 780 Nm.
Combined with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, this super-luxury sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds and attain a top speed of 250 km/h.
