Lamborghini Officially Launches the Urus SE Super SUV in Vietnam
Lamborghini is now offering a total of four variants of the Urus in Vietnam: the standard, S, high-performance Performante, and this fuel-efficient Urus SE.
The Lamborghini Urus SE is priced at 15,5993 billion VND (VAT included) in Vietnam. This comes with a 5-year warranty and official maintenance package from the date of vehicle delivery.
Powering the Lamborghini Urus SE in Vietnam is a hybrid powertrain that combines a familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor within an 8-speed automatic transmission. This setup produces a total output of 789 horsepower, making it the most powerful Urus variant to date.
Lamborghini Urus SE can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds quicker than the previous Urus S but 0.1 seconds slower than the Performante.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery, offering an all-electric range of up to 55 km. However, the weight of the vehicle has increased by 300 kg compared to the standard Urus, reaching 2,540 kg.
The Lamborghini Urus SE also features a new electro-hydraulic multi-disc clutch that flexibly distributes traction to the front and rear axles as needed. This is combined with a virtual rear differential lock that replaces the old physical differential.
Compared to the standard version, the Lamborghini Urus SE’s design has been slightly altered to emphasize its dynamism, highlighting its sporty nature and masculine appearance. The front of the vehicle impresses with its new hood and prominent designs. The absence of a cut line on the hood creates a sense of continuity and a more sporting spirit, similar to the design style seen on the Revuelto.
Other new elements include matrix LED headlights, taillights inspired by the tail of the Lamborghini bull, and a redesigned front bumper and grille.
At the rear, the luggage compartment door has been completely redesigned for a seamless look, with the taillights connected to the Y-shaped lights and the diffuser creating a harmonious feel. Along with the new wing, the diffuser helps increase downforce at the rear by 35% at high speeds compared to the Urus S, improving the vehicle’s stability.
Aerodynamic efficiency has been enhanced thanks to new vents under the body and improved air ducts, which direct more airflow to cool the mechanical and engine components—an increase of 15% compared to the original Urus. The new front-end design, combined with the optimization of the aerodynamic underbody, has also improved air management dedicated to the braking system, enhancing air cooling capability by 30% compared to the previous system.
The interior of the Lamborghini Urus SE has been upgraded with a 12.3-inch screen (other versions have a 10.1-inch screen) featuring more intuitive graphics. Other notable changes include the design of the air vents, seat upholstery, and dashboard.
