Honda Unveils the EV Fun Electric Motorcycle Concept at EICMA Milan
Honda EV Fun boasts a sporty and dynamic naked-bike design with a long wheelbase, possibly exceeding that of the CB750 Hornet.
It is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, sized 180/55-17 at the rear and 120/70-17 at the front, along with dual four-piston Nissin calipers at the front, inverted forks, and a single-sided swingarm for superior handling and performance.
This electric motorcycle does not feature a clutch or gear shift lever but instead has a front brake on the left handlebar and a rear brake on the left pedal.
Honda has not disclosed much information about this concept, only revealing that it has a performance equivalent to a mid-sized internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycle. The EV Fun features a large, non-removable battery pack.
Honda confirms that the EV Fun will be equipped with a CCS2 charging system, the most popular combined charging system for electric vehicles in Europe, accommodating both fast DC and slow AC charging. This electric motorcycle is expected to have a range of over 100 km.
The commercial version of the Honda EV Fun is planned to be released next year.
Alongside the EV Fun Concept, Honda also introduced another concept scooter, the EV Urban, at EICMA. However, there is no news yet on the commercial release of this model.
