On November 15, FGF (For Green Future) signed a lease agreement for 1,000 electric vehicles with Holitech, a provider of smart technology solutions for tourism and transportation in Binh Dinh. This partnership marks the largest vehicle transfer between FGF and an enterprise partner, with a diverse range of VinFast electric vehicles from VF 3 to VF 9 expected to enhance Holitech’s high-quality transportation services in Binh Dinh and several provinces in Central Vietnam by 2024 and 2025.

The signing ceremony between FGF and Holitech followed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on promoting green transition between the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province and Vingroup, with a focus on developing a green transportation ecosystem using electric vehicles. By providing a large number of electric vehicles to Holitech, FGF plays a crucial role in offering locals and tourists in Binh Dinh more opportunities to access and experience green, smart, and modern mobility services. Holitech is currently operating VinFast electric motorcycle rental services in Binh Dinh and plans to expand into car rentals with the addition of VinFast electric cars within the last two months of 2024.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Long, Director and Founder of Holitech, shared his thoughts on the partnership: “Digital transformation and green transition are our top strategic priorities. Collaborating with FGF is a pivotal step towards achieving these goals. This partnership also lays a solid foundation for us to enhance our service quality, boost green tourism, and bring sustainable value to the community. We have a significant advantage over other countries in the region with our very own electric vehicle brand and an excellent green transportation ecosystem. Why shouldn’t we take advantage of it?”

Mr. Long highly appreciated Binh Dinh province’s overall orientation in the green transportation initiative, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to join hands in the green transition. Binh Dinh is one of the pioneering localities in planning electric vehicle charging stations in conjunction with urban planning. “Binh Dinh is a model example and a testament to effective green transition. If all provinces and cities in the country share the same vision and approach as Binh Dinh, I believe we don’t have to wait until 2050. Instead, by 2035, Vietnam can definitely achieve the Net Zero goal,” he added.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy General Director of FGF, expressed his pride in partnering with enterprises to not only enhance the mobility experience for locals and tourists but also contribute to a greener Vietnam. He hopes that this collaboration will motivate more businesses to actively promote the green transition. FGF, with its mission to increase accessibility to electric cars for the majority of the population, accelerate the green transition, and contribute to realizing the Net Zero commitment by 2050, has continuously expanded its nationwide network for electric car rentals, purchases, and sales over the past five months, supporting individuals and enterprises in their green journey.

Previously, FGF signed a lease agreement for 200 VinFast VF 8 and VF 9 electric cars with NIAD to provide long-term transportation services for its partner. Additionally, in September, just two months after its market launch, FGF signed a contract for 910 long-term vehicle rentals with nine partners across nine provinces and cities nationwide. With FGF’s rapid progress and the growing support of numerous enterprises, Vietnamese consumers are presented with more opportunities to conveniently access and experience green and intelligent transportation at optimized costs.
