Mercedes-Benz has added a new minivan to its upcoming lineup and is testing it on public roads before revealing its official name. According to Auto Week, this could be an all-electric minivan, part of the same family as the eSprinter, expected to launch in 2026.
From the leaked images, we can see that the entire design is covered in camouflage wrap, but some details are visible, such as the small grille located in the center of the front end and the perforated front bumper, which bears a resemblance to the 2020 V-Class.
The taillights are not yet finalized and may be redesigned to create a cohesive look with the daytime running lights at the front.
Mercedes previously shared with the media that the new minivan will feature a special modular platform, accommodating both front-wheel drive and 4WD systems.

Details about the minivan’s powertrain are still scarce, but Auto Week predicts it will be a family-oriented vehicle with a gentle engine and a more affordable price tag compared to the V-Class or eSprinter.
The German automotive brand also asserted that the new platform on this minivan would be suitable for chauffeur-driven vehicles for VIPs, offering a smooth and comfortable ride. Based on the teaser images from Mercedes, the new minivan appears to be slightly larger than the R-Class sold in the US from 2006 to 2013.
