VinFast Auto proudly announces the delivery of its VF 5 electric vehicles in Indonesia as part of the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week, taking place from November 22 to December 1, 2024.
This is the second electric vehicle model that VinFast has delivered in the Indonesian market, further realizing its mission to make electric vehicles more accessible to everyone and contributing to the green transportation revolution in Indonesia and the wider region.
Just over nine months after entering the Indonesian market, VinFast has officially delivered two electric vehicle models in the most popular segments: VF 5 (segment A) and VF e34 (segment C).
The VF 5 is one of VinFast’s best-selling models in the first ten months of this year, significantly contributing to the brand’s achievement as the number one market share holder in its domestic market in Vietnam. Building on this domestic success, the VF 5 will become VinFast’s flagship model in its conquest of the Indonesian market, offering three key values: great car, great price, and excellent after-sales policies.
The VF 5 boasts a robust design, compact size, and superior safety features compared to gasoline vehicles in the same segment. Especially, as an electric vehicle, the VF 5 offers not only cost savings and zero emissions but also freedom from the odd-even license plate restrictions in Jakarta. This allows users to move freely on all routes, regardless of the day of the week, providing maximum flexibility and convenience.
VinFast is offering attractive incentives to car buyers, with an on-road price in Jakarta for the VF 5 starting at 286,450,000 IDR (including battery) and 218,250,000 IDR (with a battery leasing option). VinFast also provides flexible sales policies to meet consumer needs. Specifically, customers can choose to either lease or purchase the battery for the VF 5 electric vehicle, with battery leasing starting at just 990,000 IDR per month. Additionally, customers can opt for an interest-free installment plan with zero management and service fees for the first year.
Furthermore, VinFast offers generous trade-in policies to assure customers of their investment in electric vehicles. After six months of use, customers can sell their cars back to VinFast for up to 90% of the vehicle’s value, 86% after one year, 78% after two years, and 70% after three years.
In Indonesia, the VF 5 is backed by the best-in-market official warranty policies, offering up to seven years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first) for the vehicle and an unlimited eight-year warranty for the battery.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, shared, “We are proud to deliver the first VF 5 units during the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week, offering Indonesian consumers smart, fun, and worry-free electric mobility options. By introducing dynamic urban models, VinFast is committed to accompanying Indonesian customers in the green transportation revolution, building a better and more sustainable future for all.”
VinFast’s exhibition booth at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week is open to visitors from November 22 to December 1, 2024. The VF 5 handover ceremony will take place on November 22. During the event, from November 24 onwards, customers will also have the opportunity to test drive the VF 5 and VF e34, experiencing these modern and intelligent electric vehicles suited for urban lifestyles.
