Porsche has collaborated with New York-based fashion brand Aime Leon Dore to unveil one of the most stunning restorations of a 993-generation 911 Turbo. This unique creation marks the fifth collaboration between Porsche and Aime Leon Dore, as part of an ongoing project to breathe new life into classic Porsche vehicles with a touch of fashion flair.
In crafting this very special 993 Turbo, Porsche incorporated elements from the Turbo S, including a larger rear spoiler. The front splitter from the Turbo S is also present, as well as a more efficient exhaust system. The paintwork is a stunning Mulberry Green, a color that might not work on a new 911 but suits the 993 perfectly. Matching 18-inch wheels have also been added.
To complete the exterior, Porsche added gold accents, including door decals, wheel rims, and brake calipers. These golden touches give the car a subtle sense of luxury, making it stand out without being too flashy.
While the exterior is breathtaking, the interior is even more spectacular. Dark brown leather now adorns many of the interior surfaces, accented with wool and hard seats.
Dark brown carpets and floor mats, Mulberry Green-painted seat backs, and Aime Leon Dore and Porsche logos on the steering wheel and headrests create a truly special space. The cabin’s highlights are the brass gear knob and the inscription on the door sill, which reads ‘a team from Queens with the American dream’.
Coinciding with the unveiling of this special 993 Turbo, Aime Leon Dore will release a clothing collection featuring various garments, including a leather jacket. The collection will be available from November 22nd in stores and on their website. Porsche Design of America will also sell select items from the collection at its store in Beverly Hills.
This is not the first time Porsche and Aime Leon Dore have joined forces to reimagine classic vehicles. Previous projects include a meticulously crafted Porsche 944 Turbo and a beautifully restored Porsche 911 Carrera from the 964 generation. Each car showcases the duo’s vision of blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
