A group of Lamborghini supercar enthusiasts in southern Vietnam recently gathered for a special event hosted by the Italian carmaker. Nearly 10 “bull” branded cars were in attendance, and our attention was particularly drawn to the Lamborghini Urus lineup.
There are almost 35 Lamborghini Urus in Vietnam, including the standard version, the high-performance Lamborghini Urus Performante, the mid-life upgrade Lamborghini Urus S, and the recently launched Lamborghini Urus SE, which has yet to be delivered to Vietnamese customers.
At the main lobby of Lamborghini Vietnam, we spotted a limited-edition Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 with an SVJ body kit, alongside a rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracan EVO owned by a young tycoon, and a stylish orange-red Lamborghini Urus Performante super SUV.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 7-speed ISR automatic transmission, enabling the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 349 km/h.
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD boasts a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 601 horsepower, a 30 horsepower increase over its predecessor, matching the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. Similar to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO, the rear-wheel-drive version features a new Ego mode that allows drivers to customize their driving settings according to their preferences.
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD sends its power solely to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante super SUV retains the standard model’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine but with a slight tweak by the Italian automaker, resulting in an output of 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This powerful engine propels the high-performance SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, an improvement of 0.3 seconds over the standard Urus, and on to a top speed of 306 km/h.
