According to sales consultants in the southern region, the MG5 MT model is currently being offered with significant discounts to clear inventory.

Specifically, customers purchasing the MG5 MT are eligible for discounts of up to 100 million VND. The post-discount price stands at just 295 million VND. The vehicles on offer have a 2023 VIN, and the last unit has already found an owner.

Buyers of the MG5 MT with a 2024 VIN will also receive a discount of 90 million VND, bringing the price down to 309 million VND. This B-segment sedan is now more affordable than even A-segment cars like the Kia Morning MT, priced at 349 million VND.

The MG5 boasts impressive dimensions, with a length of 4,601 mm, a width of 1,818 mm, and a height of 1,489 mm. Its wheelbase spans 2,680 mm, matching competitors such as the Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic, and Hyundai Elantra.

In terms of design, the MG5 MT differs significantly from the automatic version sold in Vietnam. The B-segment sedan features halogen headlights alongside a grille that echoes the style of its older sibling, the RX5.

Inside the cabin, the MG5 MT is equipped with a D-Cut steering wheel that integrates various function buttons. The car features cloth-upholstered seats that can be manually adjusted in four directions. An 8-inch display takes care of the infotainment duties, offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity alongside a four-speaker audio system.

On the safety front, the MG5 MT includes essential features such as front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, a rearview camera, and parking sensors.

Under the hood, the MG5 MT is powered by a 1.5L inline-four gasoline engine that generates a maximum output of 113 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
