In recent days, the VinFast owner community has been abuzz with excitement as numerous individuals reported receiving confirmation calls in preparation for receiving a “tailor-made” gift personally chosen by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong. This gesture of gratitude from the VinFast founder is directed towards all electric and gasoline car owners who contributed to the historic milestone of the brand becoming the number one automotive brand in the market (cumulative up to the end of October 2024).

“Yesterday, a girl with a ‘sweet’ voice called to confirm my address so that VinFast could send a Tet gift. Did anyone else receive a similar call?” reads a post by Tú Nguyễn in the VinFast VF 3 Ba Miền community, a large electric car group with 71,000 members.

Numerous responses to this post shared similar experiences of receiving calls from the VinFast hotline. “I usually don’t answer unknown landline numbers, but I’m glad I picked up this time as I was informed about an upcoming gift. It was a pleasant surprise, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting it ever since,” shared Nga Nguyễn, another VinFast owner. The act of sharing experiences about receiving or missing calls from the 024 area code has become an exciting trend within electric car communities in recent days.

The buzz extends to gas car owner groups as well, with equally lively discussions. Khúc Duy Cường, a member of a Fadil owner group with over 135,000 members, shared the thrilling news of receiving a confirmation call.

Expressing his delight at “receiving a gift again,” he also reminded other VinFasters to stay attentive to their phones. VinFast’s customer care department will continue to reach out to customers, and the first gifts are expected to reach owners starting in January 2025.

Pham Nhat Vuong’s “Relationship-Centric” Approach to Business

Bich Ha, a VinFast Lux A2.0 owner from Hanoi who has trusted and supported the brand from its early days, asserted that she had never encountered another automotive company that went to such lengths to express gratitude to customers who purchased vehicles over four years ago. “I never expected to receive such a swift and grand gesture of appreciation,” she exclaimed.

Ha also listed the gifts she would be receiving: a bottle of fine French wine, a lucky red envelope worth VND 888,000, and a New Year greeting card from the Chairman of Vingroup himself. According to her, these gifts hold significant value not only in terms of money but also in the sentiments conveyed by the highest leader of VinFast.

“With other car brands, buying a car is just a one-time transaction. But with VinFast, the experience is truly unique. Purchasing a car from them makes me feel valued and special. Now, receiving a gift and a greeting card personally chosen by the billionaire himself is truly an unprecedented experience,” Ha shared. She is also considering switching to a VinFast electric car to continue her positive experience and support the Vietnamese brand in the electric vehicle era.

In reality, this is not the first time that the top Vietnamese billionaire’s automotive company has shown its gratitude to customers through meaningful gifts. According to Hoang Le, a VinFast customer, the company has consistently presented gifts to both new and existing customers since its inception, including vouchers for vacations and maintenance services, as well as complimentary charging policies. In parallel, VinFast has introduced a series of attractive incentive programs to facilitate the transition of gasoline car owners to electric vehicles.

Observers attribute VinFast’s rapid achievement of record-breaking sales figures to its distinct product and service quality, as well as its “relationship-centric” business approach, which prioritizes customer satisfaction. This unique combination has earned the trust of a vast number of Vietnamese customers.

Furthermore, on December 3, with the opening of its 111th service workshop, VinFast officially secured the “number one” position in terms of service network scale in Vietnam. This milestone further underscores the company’s commitment to providing market-leading customer care.

According to numerous experts, VinFast will continue to maintain its position as the number one automotive brand in the market, backed by its strong customer connections, product advantages, and competitive pricing strategies.
