Xiaomi Unveils its First Electric CUV: The Xiaomi YU7, Scheduled for Release in Mid-2025

Xiaomi YU7 boasts impressive dimensions with a length of 4.999 m, a width of 1.996 m, and a height of 1.600 m, along with a wheelbase of 3.000 m.

Despite targeting different segments, the YU7 shares a similar design philosophy with the SU7, and both vehicles draw design cues from the iconic Ferrari.

The YU7’s headlamp design takes inspiration from the McLaren 750S, while the LED taillights and duck-tail spoiler evoke associations with Aston Martin.

While images of the Xiaomi YU7’s interior have not yet been released, it is speculated to share similarities with the SU7. Expected features include a 16.1-inch central touchscreen, rear entertainment screens, and a LIDAR sensor for autonomous driving capabilities.

Xiaomi has not disclosed details about the YU7’s powertrain, but rumors suggest it could be equipped with dual electric motors producing a combined output of 681 horsepower. The range of the Xiaomi SU7 will depend on the battery capacity, with the highest configuration potentially offering an impressive 800 km per charge.

The Xiaomi YU7 is expected to be priced between 250,000 and 300,000 NDT (approximately 875.1 million to 1.05 billion VND).
