Ford Thailand has just officially launched the Ranger MS-RT, a special edition model designed to balance performance and unique sporty style.

The pickup truck was first introduced earlier this year in February in the European market.

The Ranger MS-RT is likened to an “urban truck” with its rugged exterior. The front of the car impresses with a honeycomb grille, paired with sportier air intakes above the splitter. The design of the front and rear fenders has been widened, adding 82mm to each side and adorned with vents.

It comes equipped with new 21-inch wheels, paired with 275/45R21 all-terrain tires. The rear features a duck-tail spoiler, complemented by a diffuser.

Not just looks, Ford has fine-tuned the chassis of the Ranger MS-RT with a 40mm lowered suspension compared to the standard and added a front stabilizer bar for improved stability and precision when cornering.

In terms of interior, the Ford Ranger MS-RT boasts a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, ambient lighting, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, power-adjustable front seats, remote engine start, and a 360-degree camera system.

Powering the Ranger MS-RT is the same 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, producing 237 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, similar to the Wildtrak and Platinum trims. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system. The Ranger MS-RT has a payload capacity of 1,000 kg and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg, similar to other variants.

The Ranger MS-RT is priced at 1.749 million Thai baht (approximately $51,000) in Thailand. For now, Ford will only sell 200 units of the Ranger MS-RT in this Southeast Asian country.
