This December 2024, THACO distributor is offering attractive incentives on a range of Kia models to boost year-end sales. Among them, the Kia Seltos SUV is expected to grab the most attention.

In detail, Kia is offering discounts on most versions of the Seltos. Notably, the top-of-the-line 1.5 Turbo GT-Line Special edition receives a price reduction of VND 40 million. The other two turbocharged versions, the Turbo GT-Line and Turbo Luxury, are discounted by VND 30 million. As a result, the prices of these three versions are now VND 719 million, VND 769 million, and VND 799 million, respectively.

Additionally, customers who purchase any version of the Kia Seltos, except for the 1.5L Deluxe, will receive a complimentary one-year physical insurance package, equivalent to a 50% discount on the registration fee. With this promotion, the starting price of this B-segment SUV drops to only VND 591 million.

However, the Kia Seltos is not the model with the highest incentives this December. Instead, the Kia Sorento takes the crown with even more attractive offers.

During this month, the plug-in hybrid versions of the Kia Sorento will be discounted by VND 75-110 million. The corresponding reduction for the hybrid versions ranges from VND 72-80 million. The remaining gasoline and diesel engine versions will receive a more modest discount of VND 10-55 million.

But that’s not all. When purchasing the Kia Sorento, customers will also receive a lucky draw ticket with a chance to win attractive prizes such as travel vouchers, PNJ diamonds, and car care service vouchers. The total value of these additional incentives is approximately VND 490 million, applicable to customers who complete the vehicle delivery process before January 10, 2025.

Following the Sorento, the Kia Sonet subcompact SUV also offers a compelling promotion with a one-year physical insurance package, valued at VND 9 million. As a result, the selling price of this A-segment SUV drops to an appealing VND 530 million.

For the Kia K3 line, the 1.6 Turbo GT version receives the most significant discount of VND 25 million, while the 2.0 AT Premium version is reduced by VND 10 million.

Similarly, the Kia K5 mid-size sedan also benefits from a manufacturer’s promotion, with the top-of-the-line GT-Line receiving a VND 32 million discount. The other two versions are only offered the one-year physical insurance package. Additionally, customers who purchase the Kia K5 will also be entitled to the same lucky draw as the Sorento.

The remaining two Kia models on offer this December are the Kia Morning and Soluto, with discounts ranging from VND 6-22 million. This is expected, given their already affordable price points.

In November 2024, Kia recorded impressive sales of 5,299 units in Vietnam, reflecting a 24% growth. This success is partly attributed to the government’s support policy, offering a 50% discount on registration fees for domestically produced and assembled vehicles. Among the Kia models, the top-selling trio consisted of the Kia Seltos (1,212 units), Sonet (1,063 units), and Carnival (903 units).
