Toyota Astra Motor recently teased a brand new 7-seater SUV named the Hilux Rangga.

In reality, this new SUV is a modified version of the Toyota Hilux Champ pickup truck. In Indonesia, the Toyota Hilux Champ is known as the Hilux Rangga.

According to the plan, the Hilux Rangga SUV will officially go on sale in early 2025. Since October, the prototype has been on display for customers to conveniently view and admire.

Overall, the front of the Hilux Rangga SUV retains the original design of the pickup truck, but from pillar B onwards, it has been improved to resemble a regular SUV.

The rear of the vehicle features a large tailgate with the word “Rangga” on it. A roof rack is installed on the roof, making it easier to transport or carry luggage.

In terms of interior, the Rangga SUV cabin has been upgraded with two rows of seats at the back in a 2+3+2 configuration.

This SUV is powered by two engine options. The first is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, producing 137 horsepower. The second is a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission, generating 148 horsepower.
