VinFast recently announced the removal of the VF 8 from Xanh SM’s taxi fleet.

The Vietnamese automotive brand also teased the introduction of a new line of service vehicles, including the Mini Green, Hero Green, Neo Green, and LimoGreen, in the future.

Specifically, these three lines will cater to three different segments: Economy with the Mini Green, Standard with the 4-seat Hero Green, and Premium with the Neo Green and LimoGreen (7-seater).

According to speculations, the Hero Green could be an upgraded version of the VF 5 Plus or VF e34, currently part of Xanh SM’s electric taxi fleet. These two models also feature a 4- to 5-seat configuration and will cater to regular passengers.

Moving up the range is the Neo Green, positioned as a more premium offering. This vehicle is expected to have 4 to 5 seats and will directly replace the VF 8 in the taxi lineup.

The Mini Green and LimoGreen are the two more “unfamiliar” models. Mini Green appears to be the VF 2, a smaller vehicle than even the VF 3. This model has been optimized for ride-hailing services from the outset, promising higher economic efficiency.
