On December 23, 2024, V-GREEN and PT Xanh SM Green and Smart Mobility Indonesia (Xanh SM Indonesia) announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lippo Karawaci, Indonesia’s leading real estate developer.

Leveraging Lippo’s reputation, experience, and extensive real estate network, V-GREEN and Xanh SM Indonesia aim to bring their green ecosystem closer to the Indonesian people, thereby strongly promoting the electric transportation revolution in the region.

Per the agreement, the three parties will collaborate on research and actively discuss expanding the electric vehicle ecosystem and fostering a green transition in Indonesia. Their joint efforts include constructing and operating V-GREEN electric vehicle charging stations and Xanh SM Indonesia taxi stands at real estate projects developed by Lippo.

V-GREEN, Xanh SM Indonesia, and Lippo will also discuss potential investment and business models for future collaboration. The parties commit to supporting promotional, sales, and marketing programs related to the agreement to boost Indonesia’s sustainable development according to ESG standards.

Under the leadership of founder Pham Nhat Vuong, V-GREEN, VinFast, and Xanh SM have formed a complete ecosystem with a pioneering mission in the field of electric transportation. Indonesia is a crucial market in the global strategy of this ecosystem, where the trio aims to build a sustainable transportation network.

To materialize this goal, V-GREEN has signed a strategic MoU with the diversified conglomerate Prime Group through its subsidiary in the UAE. The agreement aims to develop approximately 100,000 VinFast electric vehicle charging stations in Indonesia over the next three years, with a total expected investment of up to $1.2 billion.

Meanwhile, at its recent inauguration in Indonesia, Xanh SM Indonesia signed agreements with nine prominent partners in banking, telecommunications, real estate, and retail.

Since its official brand launch in Indonesia, VinFast has delivered the VF e34 and VF 5 models, continuously expanded its dealer network, introduced attractive sales policies, and inaugurated an assembly plant in Subang, West Java, as part of its efforts to strengthen its global production capabilities.
