The Lynk & Co 900 is offered with three engine options. The most premium version boasts a 2.0T engine combined with three electric motors, delivering a total output of up to 845 horsepower.
Recently, Lynk & Co unveiled its new flagship SUV, the Lynk & Co 900. Known by the code name L946, the Lynk & Co 900 is the largest model in the brand’s lineup, with dimensions of 5,240 x 1,999 x 1,810 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,160 mm.
The SUV is offered in five color options, each representing different times of day, from midnight to early morning: Polar Night Black, Cloudy Gray, Morning Dawn Blue, Dawn White, and Sunlight Silver.
In terms of design, the Lynk & Co 009 stays true to the brand’s signature aesthetic. It boasts a youthful and fashionable style that easily captivates younger audiences. The front of the vehicle is characterized by its Aurora Borealis-inspired daytime running lights, which are designed as two vertical strips, similar to those found on recent Lynk & Co models like the EM-P 07, EM-P 08, and Z10.
The side mirrors are mounted on arms that extend from the doors. The SUV features a floating roof design, achieved through the use of black pillars and hidden door handles. The rear window’s rake is reminiscent of the Range Rover.
Underpinning the Lynk & Co 900 is the SPA Evo platform, designed for large hybrid electric vehicles. This platform supports wheelbases ranging from 3,050 mm to 3,300 mm, catering specifically to vehicles longer than five meters.
The chassis is equipped with a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system, enabling the vehicle to automatically adjust its suspension according to road conditions. The dual-chamber air suspension can switch between two chambers and a single chamber, enhancing handling performance during cornering and other driving scenarios.
The Lynk & Co 900 boasts a modern interior with a standout feature—a 30-inch 6K display that appears to float above the dashboard. This seamless screen enables diverse screen splitting and comprehensive interactivity.
Additionally, the vehicle features a 12.66-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, a head-up display (HUD) with an augmented reality (AR) function, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor.
The center armrest is equipped with two wireless charging pads. According to Lynk & Co, the vehicle offers 42 storage compartments for everyday items.
For rear-seat passengers, a 30-inch 6K entertainment screen can be folded down from the ceiling. The second-row seats also feature a mini pull-out refrigerator for added convenience.
Lynk & Co claims that the SUV offers one of the most spacious interiors in its class. With an interior area of 6.16 square meters and an 88.2% practical cabin usage rate, the Lynk & Co 900 provides ample space for its occupants. The second-row seats can slide by 550mm, and the third-row seats offer adjustable backrests and a sliding range of 125mm.
The cargo area has a volume of 300 liters, with dimensions of 590 mm in depth, 1,130 mm in width, and 786 mm in height. Additionally, there is a hidden 20-liter storage space under the floor. The rear door is designed with a split function, allowing the lower part to be used as a shelf. When the vehicle is stationary, the roof rack can support up to 300 kg, and up to 100 kg when the vehicle is in motion.
The brand offers a range of upholstery options, including faux suede, faux leather, and genuine Nappa leather for the seat trim. The cabin trim is crafted using PVD technology, prioritizing both user health and environmental protection.
The Lynk & Co 900 is available with three PHEV powertrain options. The standard version combines a 1.5T gasoline engine with a 160 kW electric motor at the front and a 230 kW electric motor at the rear, resulting in a total system output of 710 horsepower.
The second option pairs a 2.0T engine with two electric motors, delivering 123 kW at the front and 230 kW at the rear, for a combined output of 724 horsepower.
The most premium variant utilizes a 2.0T engine and three electric motors: one 123 kW motor at the front and two 160 kW motors at the rear, generating a staggering total output of 845 horsepower.
According to the manufacturer, the Lynk & Co 900 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. The AI digital chassis enables special modes such as spinning on the spot and crab mode for lateral movement.
Pricing for the Lynk & Co 900 has not yet been announced. The SUV is expected to arrive at dealerships in China starting in March 2025.
