Since its official launch on December 6, 2024, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i has delivered over 20,000 units in its first month. Currently, there are five versions of the vehicle available. For customers who pre-ordered before January 31, a limited-time promotional price of RMB 99,800 – 132,800 (USD 13,600 – 18,200) is on offer.

Furthermore, as of December 19, the new Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i had only been on the market for 13 days, and total delivery volume had already surpassed 10,000 units, breaking the record for the fastest delivery speed in the plug-in hybrid SUV segment, according to the automaker.
Built on Geely’s GEA platform, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i boasts dimensions of 4740/1905/1685 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2755 mm, resulting in a space utilization ratio of up to 84.3%.
The standard trunk volume is 528 L and can be expanded to 2065 L by folding down the rear seats. Inside, a 14.6-inch central control screen integrates multiple vehicle control and entertainment functions, supported by the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system.
The seats are made of leather material. Additionally, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i is equipped with a full LCD dashboard of 10.2 inches and a 13.8-inch W-HUD, achieving a three-screen linkage.
One of the highlights of the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i is its next-generation Thor PHEV system, independently developed by Geely, coupled with the E-DHT, which includes a 1.5L hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency of 46.5% and an electric motor. The engine delivers 82 kW (110 hp) and 136 Nm of torque, while the motor produces 160 kW (215 hp) and 262 Nm, resulting in a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds.
Two lithium iron phosphate battery capacities are offered: 8.5 kWh and 19.09 kWh, providing pure electric CLTC ranges of 55 km and 120 km, respectively. The corresponding curb weights are 1,610 kg and 1,724 kg. Moreover, the CLTC fuel consumption is 3.75 L per 100 km. With a full tank of gas and a full charge, the comprehensive range is 1,420 km. Additionally, only the top-tier version supports fast DC charging, taking 20 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%.
