Genesis Unveils the Updated GV60: A Luxurious All-Electric SUV
The 2025 Genesis GV60 has received a mid-life refresh, with updates primarily focusing on its front and rear ends.
The refreshed Genesis GV60 sports a new grille, accompanied by a two-tier split headlight design featuring the new Micro Lens Array technology. The front bumper has also been tweaked for a sportier and more aggressive look.
The 2025 model also introduces an option for new 21-inch wheels and mudguards painted in the same color as the body, creating a seamless and sophisticated look. The color-coordinated rear bumper further enhances the overall design, making it more harmonious and striking.
Inside, the Genesis GV60 2025 boasts a luxurious and modern cabin with a new 27-inch display that merges the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel has also been redesigned for a more refined look and feel.
It is unclear if the 2025 Genesis GV60 will receive any upgrades to its powertrain. However, it is likely that this mid-life refresh will see the SUV equipped with an 84 kWh battery pack, similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, replacing the 77.4 kWh battery of its predecessor.
The current GV60 offers two powertrain options: a Standard RWD configuration with a single electric motor producing 225 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, and a Dual Motor AWD setup that delivers a maximum of 429 horsepower, which can be temporarily boosted to 483 horsepower when needed.
The updated Genesis GV60 is expected to go on sale in South Korea in the first quarter of 2025, followed by its launch in other markets such as Australia in the third quarter of the same year.
