VinFast announced that it delivered over 20,000 vehicles to Vietnamese customers in December 2024, a record-breaking achievement. This is an unprecedented sales figure in the history of the domestic automobile market. In fact, this result even surpasses the total annual sales of many other automakers in Vietnam.
This success is attributed to the steady sales growth across most of their models. Notably, the VF5 emerged as the best-selling model in their lineup and the top-selling vehicle in the domestic market for 2024.
Specifically, in December 2024, VinFast delivered more than 4,900 VF5s, bringing the annual total to over 32,000 units. Following closely behind was the VF3, with December deliveries exceeding 8,800 units and cumulative deliveries reaching over 25,000 in just five months. Additionally, the VF6 line also witnessed significant growth in December, achieving sales of over 2,700 vehicles.
By the end of 2024, VinFast had sold a total of more than 87,000 electric vehicles in Vietnam, far surpassing its global delivery goals. With these impressive results, VinFast solidifies its position as the number one automotive brand in Vietnam.
