The all-new Nissan Almera has just been introduced to Vietnamese customers, featuring updates to its exterior, interior, and safety equipment. Still imported from Thailand, the Nissan Almera now offers more variants, with a starting price of 489 million VND and a top-tier price of 569 million VND.
The 2025 Nissan Almera boasts a redesigned front grille, complemented by a distinctive logo that sets it apart from its predecessor. The top-of-the-line VL version sports 16-inch alloy wheels with 205/55 tires. With the addition of two new colors, Greenish Gray and Blue, the Nissan Almera now offers a total of six exterior color options across all three versions.

The 2025 Nissan Almera showcases a two-tone interior design, now equipped with armrests for both front and rear passengers, a wireless charging pad, and Cruise Control. All new Almera models feature sports-style zero-gravity front seats with six-way manual adjustment. The VL variant takes it a notch higher with soft leather upholstery, an 8-inch central infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a six-speaker audio system.
The VL trim also benefits from the Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite, which includes features such as automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, adaptive headlights, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera.

Under the hood, the Nissan Almera continues to impress with its segment-exclusive 1.0L turbocharged engine, delivering 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
As a fully imported model from Thailand, the Nissan Almera is offered in three variants: the Almera EL starting at 489 million VND, the Almera V at 529 million VND, and the top-of-the-line Almera VL priced at 569 million VND. Compared to its predecessor, the new Almera boasts a more attractive pricing strategy, with the base model now 50 million VND more affordable and the high-end version 26 million VND less expensive.
Nissan does not disclose sales figures for the Almera or any other models in the Vietnamese market.
In the competitive B-segment sedan market, the Nissan Almera goes up against rivals such as the Toyota Vios (458-545 million VND), Hyundai Accent (439-569 million VND), Honda City (499-569 million VND), Mazda2 (408-508 million VND), Mitsubishi Attrage (380-490 million VND), Kia Soluto (386-449 million VND), and the imported Volkswagen Virtus (949 million to 1.069 billion VND).
After the first ten months of the year, the Toyota Vios leads the pack with 10,569 units sold, followed closely by the Hyundai Accent at 9,625 units, and the Honda City securing the third spot with 7,741 vehicles delivered to Vietnamese customers.
