Following the success of the 946 Bunny (rabbit/cat) and 946 Dragon editions in 2023 and 2024, respectively, which sparked a frenzy among scooter enthusiasts and collectors in Vietnam, Vespa has recently unveiled the first images of its newest limited-edition model – the Vespa 946 Snake for 2025.

This release is part of Vespa’s 12-year-long project, introducing a limited-edition model each year representing the Chinese zodiac signs, celebrating the beauty of Asian culture.

The Vespa 946 Snake takes inspiration from the beauty of winter, featuring a unique icy blue paint job that exudes elegance. Additionally, it showcases a bright chrome-plated serpent on the fuel tank and mudguard, while the seat boasts an exquisite snakeskin pattern.

The Vespa 946 Snake offers a choice of 125cc or 155cc engines, similar to previous Lunar New Year editions, delivering 11.4 and 12.9 horsepower, respectively. It is also equipped with a two-channel ABS and traction control system.

Only 888 units of the Vespa 946 Snake will be produced, each with a unique serial number. Buyers will also receive a range of snake-themed accessories, including a helmet, a long puffer jacket, and a short bomber jacket, adding to the exclusivity of the ownership experience.

The price of the Vespa 946 Snake has not been disclosed yet. However, given its limited production run, the price is expected to reach several hundred million VND. Last year, the 946 Dragon edition was, at one point, priced similarly to a car when it arrived in Vietnam.

This limited-edition model will be displayed at Vespa stores worldwide from January 7 to February 5, 2025, including a showcase in Hanoi at the Tràng Tiền Plaza store.
