Recently, a South Korean news outlet published fuel consumption figures for the new Hyundai Palisade 2.5L hybrid.

According to the report, the front-wheel-drive, 7-seater version has a fuel consumption rate of just 6.45 liters per 100 km in city driving. When driven on a mixed cycle, consumption levels out at 6.94 liters per 100 km.

If these figures are accurate, the Palisade hybrid is significantly more fuel-efficient than the Grand i10, which consumes 6.8 liters per 100 km in city driving and 4.6 liters per 100 km on highways.

In addition to the new hybrid model, Palisade may also offer a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant in the future.

On its first day of sales in South Korea, the large SUV set a record with 33,567 orders. Impressively, 70% of these orders were for the hybrid model, which is priced 6 million won (approximately 103.62 million VND) higher than the regular gasoline version.

The new Hyundai Palisade 2025 measures 5,060 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm. Compared to its predecessor, the new model has increased its overall length and wheelbase by 65 mm and 70 mm, respectively. This, coupled with its boxy design, results in a spacious and airy interior.

The 2025 Palisade boasts a completely revamped exterior compared to the previous generation. The front end features a distinctive silver vertical LED daytime running light signature on both sides, creating a unique lighting effect.

At the center is a large, square grille surrounded by compact main headlights. The hood has a more angular design, with a U-shaped character line connecting to the grille’s trim. The vehicle is fitted with 21-inch black alloy wheels, enhancing its robust and muscular appearance.

At the rear, the vertical taillights echo the front headlights’ design, accompanied by a large Hyundai logo and the Palisade nameplate in the center of the tailgate.

Inside, the 2025 Palisade offers a 9-seater configuration with three rows of seats, each accommodating three passengers. The front row features a unique center seat, similar to those found in some pickup trucks with a continuous front bench. The second and third rows retain the standard three-seat layout.

The second-row seats can be customized with either independent or split seats. Meanwhile, the third row is equipped with heating and power adjustment functions, controllable via buttons integrated into the tappi for maximum convenience.

The interior of the Hyundai Palisade 2025 has been significantly improved over its predecessor, thanks to the adjusted wheelbase. The cabin is packed with modern amenities, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, wireless charging, USB ports, and dual cup holders.

Compared to the first-generation model, the new Palisade has better sound insulation due to thicker glass on all four doors. Additionally, sound-absorbing materials have been added around all the windows.
