At the VMS 2024 exhibition held in October last year, Skoda unveiled the new generation of its Kodiaq SUV. However, at that time, this mid-size SUV was not yet available for sale in Vietnam.
Now, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq has been spotted on the roads of Vietnam. This suggests that the European SUV is gearing up for its official launch in the country.

As previously reported, the new Skoda Kodiaq has undergone improvements in both design and features. The exterior design evolves with new elements such as headlights, taillights, front and rear bumpers, and alloy wheels.

According to Skoda, the SUV features full-LED matrix headlights with 36 modules, integrating sleek LED daytime running lights and turn signals. Meanwhile, the taillights are designed in the shape of a “C,” wrapping around the rear corners and connected by a horizontal light strip across the tailgate. The alloy wheels’ design and size vary depending on the trim level.

Step inside, and you’ll find a minimalist and modern interior. The SUV is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a head-up display. Despite the larger infotainment screen, the Kodiaq retains convenient physical buttons.
Other notable features include a shift-by-wire gear selector located behind the steering wheel, freeing up space in the center console. Additionally, the SUV offers a new storage compartment for rear passengers, a cooled wireless charging compartment, a flexible cargo area, and a driver’s side door pocket large enough to accommodate an umbrella.

Similar to the design changes, the dimensions of the SUV have also been adjusted. The new Kodiaq measures 4,758 mm in length, 1,864 mm in width, and 1,657 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. Compared to its predecessor, it is 61 mm longer, 18 mm narrower, and 24 mm lower, while the wheelbase remains unchanged. The cargo capacity stands at 340 liters, expandable to 845 liters with the rear seats folded down.
Under the hood, the Skoda Kodiaq for the Vietnamese market will continue to offer two gasoline engine options. The first is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The second option is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. Compared to the previous version, this engine gains an additional 10 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed wet-clutch dual-clutch transmission.
