In recent days, images of electric scooters with vibrant colors and eye-catching designs have been enthusiastically shared and discussed by young people, as they are “too cute.” This is the latest electric scooter model from the Vietnamese brand Motio, which was just launched on January 12th. The target audience for this scooter is high school and university students, with a speed limit of 49 km/h, which means students can ride it safely without a driver’s license.
Nguyen Minh Anh, an 11th-grade student in Ho Chi Minh City, shared that she instantly fell in love with Motio at first sight. “Motio’s design is adorable, and the colors are eye-catching. I’m obsessed with the tech pink color; riding this scooter will surely make me stand out on the streets,” she said, believing that this new “Vin” model will be a favorite among young female riders.

Another appealing feature of the Motio is its compact design with rounded edges and a soft, harmonious look, complemented by striking round LED headlights and taillights. The Motio’s appearance evokes memories of classic Italian scooters, a design style that has endured for decades. Moreover, the scooter’s design is well-proportioned and suits the stature of Vietnamese people, with a seat height of 755 mm. This “baby” model from VinFast has also caught the attention of parents.
“The scooter’s compact design and suitable height give me peace of mind when my child rides it,” said Thu Ha, a resident of Cau Giay, Hanoi, who is looking to buy an electric scooter for her 10th-grade daughter. Ha had tested a few electric scooters and bicycles for students on the market but couldn’t find one that suited her until she saw the Motio online.

In addition to its design, Ha also appreciates the Motio’s pricing, which is very reasonable for students. At a price of 17.9 million VND, Ha can easily invest in a convenient and stylish scooter for her daughter without breaking the bank.
“The range of up to 82 km on a full charge is more than enough. My child only needs to charge the scooter once or twice a week,” Ha said, adding that she sometimes borrows the scooter to go to the market, as the electric scooter’s operating costs are much lower than a gasoline-powered vehicle.
Tran Van Dung, a resident of Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, is impressed by the notable features of the Motio, which enhance its performance and safety, such as the front hydraulic shock-absorbing fork suspension and rear dual shock absorbers, front disc brakes, etc.
“It’s incredible to have all these safety features at such an affordable price. Plus, the scooter has a water-resistant design, making it an economical choice,” Dung asserted. The parent is also reassured by VinFast’s three-year warranty for the scooter and a one-year warranty for the battery. The reputation of VinFast, the leading electric scooter brand in the market today, is another significant advantage for Dung.
With positive feedback on its design and cost, industry observers predict that the VinFast Motio will be a hit in the electric scooter market in 2025, especially as electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular among young, environmentally conscious consumers.
