In terms of performance, the new The Beast 2.0 is powered by a 5.0L turbocharged diesel V8 engine. The car can reach a maximum speed of 56 mph.
Weighing in at 9 tons, the US Secret Service uses the large C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft to carry The Beast 2.0, with only two cars per flight.
The US National Security Agency has ordered a total of 11 The Beast 2.0 vehicles. Whenever the US President appears in public, two The Beast limousines will accompany him. One serves as the President’s transport, while the other acts as a decoy.
The Beast 2.0 features three windows with 5-inch thick bulletproof glass, and its body is 8-inch thick, made of aluminum, titanium, and ceramic that can withstand RPG (B41) anti-tank grenades or IED mines.
The underbody is reinforced with titanium and ceramic to withstand bombs. Even the fuel tank is armored and coated with a special foam to prevent explosions.
The interior of the car is designed to be completely isolated from the outside to prevent chemical attacks and protect the occupants in collisions and explosions. Fire extinguishers are also installed in the car. Notably, The Beast 2.0 carries a supply of oxygen and blood matching President Trump’s blood type for emergency situations.
In addition to the night vision driving system, the car is equipped with advanced security and communication systems, including GPS, WiFi, and satellite phones connected directly to the Vice President and the Pentagon to launch nuclear missiles from the vehicle. Not only does The Beast 2.0 offer protection, but it is also equipped with smoke and oil dispensers and pepper spray guns for counter-attacks.
Drivers of The Beast 2.0 undergo special training by the US National Security Agency to meet complex driving requirements, including high-speed reverse driving, 180-degree turns, and drift maneuvers.
